Photography is a large part of my life.

I started working on a local weekly newspaper shortly after leaving school. I was indentured for three years and gained my NCTJ qualification. I soon progressed to Chief Photographer on another newspaper in the same group, then after four years, I was asked to join the Sunday Mercury, one of the largest provincial Sunday newspapers in the UK. I became Chief Photographer there also, before becoming Picture Editor for the N.E.P. group with a staff of five photographers under my control, supplying images to 40 regional newspapers.
After a period working on a desk as Picture Editor, I decided to return to full time photography which gave me the opportunity to work with many types of different media and enjoy my passion for photography.
As can be seen from my portfolio, I take pictures for more than just newspapers now, Events, Business and Schools being areas I cover well. However I still take news pictures some of which appear in National Publications. I use the lastest high resolution digital cameras and can supply images very quickly if needed. Should you require prints for display, then I can supply my images on true photographic paper.
I enjoy working with people, I`m as keen and enthusiastic as the day I took my first picture, maybe even more so now. I pride myself on being reliable and easy to work with.
Please, give me a call or e-mail me, I would be only too happy to talk through and discuss your needs and requirements.
